Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is certain of the Fact that Ukrainian Literature, Ukrainian Culture are sure to become Really Popular in our Country and would provoke Interest Abroad
On Wednesday, the 13th of May 2009 the final tour of the fit poetic contest "Hope" were held in the Lesia Ukrainka Museum. The contest was supported by Mykola Tomenko Fund "Spravedlyva Kraina", International Charity Fund "Ukraine 3000´, National Radio Company of Ukraine, Closed Joint-Stock Company "KRAFT FOODS UKRAINE", publishing house "Veselka" and "Osnova". During the contest the best works of the winners and finalists were read.
M. Tomenko expressed the confidence that "one day we would reach the situation, when Ukrainian Literature, Culture would become really popular in our country and would provoke interest abroad"
"Listening you I believe that soon we would become the country, one should be proud of", - the Vice-Chairman declared.
Finalists were awarded with valuable present from M. Tomenko Fund and disk with Ukrainian classics recordings.
